Thermal and acoustic insulation:performance, efficiency, protection
A key service for all industries, thermal and acoustic insulation is an important step in energy conservation and production process efficiency, but also in respecting and protecting those around us (employees, local residents, etc.).
In environments where installations can reach extreme temperatures (up to 1000°C), ARIS develops, designs and installs specific thermal insulation systems that serve a dual purpose:
- Protection for installations (by limiting heat loss and increasing energy efficiency).
- Protection for personnel (by preventing the risk of burns, noise generated by certain devices and shocks).
Depending on the location and specifications, several insulation solutions are custom-developed by ARIS’s design offices, designed in the workshops and installed on site at the customer’s premises, whether in nuclear power plants, energy plants ou dans le secteur de la the marine sector or any other industry.
ARIS provides specialised services that require in-depth study of the constraints inherent to each situation.
Metal insulation
Located in the Epouville business park, a workshop dedicated to the manufacture of metal insulation enables us to meet the specific needs of our customers.
Custom-made for the installations for which they are intended, the rigid insulation made of stainless steel sheet and assembled by welding is designed by our employees with a focus on high technicality and quality.
RMI insulation
ARIS holds several patents relating to Metallic Reflective technology.
RMI is a fibre-free insulation technology consisting of a stack of developed thin sheets.
- Increased safety and security: Reduces the risk of sump blockage in the event of a CPP breach. No formaldehyde.
- Thermal performance: Equivalent to conventional solutions.
- Modular installation: Quick and easy assembly. Weight savings compared to conventional cassettes.

Insulating mattresses
Custom-made by the Nantes-based subsidiary MATRIS, insulating mattresses complement rigid insulation to fit the most complex shapes requiring regular maintenance and allowing for easy assembly and disassembly.
The mattress consists of a sewn glass fabric cover filled with insulation and is held in place by straps, Velcro or hooks.
Custom-developed for the needs of customers in sensitive environments (such as nuclear, industrial, maritime, aerospace and medical), insulating mattresses save a considerable amount of time during maintenance work on installations requiring regular inspection.
